At this time of year my thoughts turn to the first wedding of the season
There is almost always something crisp and clean in both the weather and my approach to the event itself
I have, every year and without fail enjoyed hugely the start of a new summer in the Dordogne. This wedding one was a beauty (in all sorts of ways). A shout to PB for his many years of hard work with us. Your flowers are a always a huge part of that beauty. And thanks to the team at DdV for wearing those bowler hats with style
This event was put together between the Feb of 2013 and the first weekend of May. Short lead-in events are often the most exciting and the couples, wonderfully relaxed as people. It is the sign that all they want is just to celebrate in the here and now. No need for years of planning smaller details. I think the 4 or 5 events I have done in this way have all featured in my top ten. Food for thought?
