Get Married in France (GMIF) is a full service wedding planning agency who have run over 200 successful events events in South West France over the last 6 years. It is a completely bespoke service and every wedding is unique. The service goes far beyond access to a planner’s black book. Your personal planner might also be an expert advisor, researcher or translator, always on-hand to help with any difficulties during planning, at the time of the event itself and in the critical days running up to it.
We tailor our services to meet the needs of each client and what suits one couple is not always appropriate for another. It maybe that you speak fluent French and have family here, in which case you will require something with a light touch. For those who do not have the language or the time to plan, full A - Z is always the best solution. We also offer on the day co-ordination packages where appropriate.

About Us
Beth Stretton began planning weddings back in 2005 when she herself married in France and realised there was nobody available to help with the planning and arrangements. Having previously organized a large conference for international delegates at Cambridge University, she decided to utilise these skills and set up Get Married in France.
Beth’s background in the French high end travel industry also meant that she understood the level of service required by clients and had a good knowledge of French cuisine, wine and local geography. Having had a family holiday home in the Dordogne for many years, this seemed the obvious place to begin and since its conception GMIF has developed into one of the premiere wedding agencies in France, offering a completely tailored service to clients from all over the world.
Beth works alongside wedding planners Kate Bouyer and Louise Ham who all pride themselves on a thoroughly personal service. We love what we do and are extremely proud of the events we have planned and coordinated over the last 6 years.
