Overview
The Grand Chateau is set right in the heart of the Dordogne valley towering over the river itself. It overlooks the most famous chateaux of the Dordogne and has unbeatable views.
The spacious interior offers the ideal space for groups of between 20 and 40, to reside comfortably over a look weekend or week long break.
The main interior salle de reception can welcome up to 60 guests (up to 100 if other internal spaces are used alongside).
We have experience of hosting weddings here for up to 150, using exterior tenting, and find that the majority of wedding dinners take place outside in the open air.
In terms of its exterior, the grounds are breathtaking. Walk to the viewpoints overlooking the valleys or stroll through the rose-garden in full flower. The infinity swimming pool is where most people spend the majority of their summer hours and the adjoining pool houseb with bbq, toilet facilities and shower room, is a bonus.
The chateau has 14 bedrooms - the majority of which are en-suite (some with shared facilities) - and sleeps a maximum of 29 people.
There is also an external appartment sleeping up to 4 and a gite just outside the main grounds sleeping 8.
