Le Petit Moulin is an exceptional luxury watermill in the Charente. Relaxing surroundings combine with the charm of the historic mill to provide the perfect way to unwind and celebrate in style. The mill has undergone major restoration and refurbishment by its enthusiastic owners.
The accommodation has large reception rooms with beautifully furnished interiors. Outside, there are wide sunny and shaded terraces, with two acres of extensive grounds and a large salt water, heated swimming pool, plus a beautiful Charentais stone BBQ area. The kitchen opens to the front and rear of the mill, allowing everyone to eat outside - in sun or shade - on a large terrace, and there is casual dining space in the kitchen as well as a large formal dining room. The main lounge has a large open stone Charentais fireplace and is well equipped, a 50" Plasma TV with Freesat/Blueray DVD and CD/MP3 music system with an integral iPod dock.
The illuminated millstream, with a fantastic glass viewing panel, is a lovely feature, and a great talking point whilst having dinner. There are eight bedrooms, all of which have lovely en-suite bathrooms. There is a downstairs WC/shower which doubles as the bathroom for the 'Garden Room'.
The Garden Room is effectively the 9th bedroom and has a queen size sofabed.
The 12 meter heated pool has a completely separate 4 meter kiddies pool attached to it, which is also heated, and there is an 8 person jacuzzi hotub that has recently been added to the extensive facilities this luxury property boasts.
Le Petit Moulin has a light, spacious interior and comfortably sleeps 18 people.
